Fellow Runners,
Back on February 15, several club members did the Love on the Run 5K
in Davis, some with canine pacers. Mickey Bartko took second place,
and Lauren Prince and Carolynne Beno took third and fourth in the
women's race, respectively. Kelly Barber placed in his age group.
Jeff Steele ran the Ventura Marathon on February 23.
At the John Frank Memorial race in Redding on Saturday, Michael Guss
ran the 3-miler and Jim Flanigan ran the 10-miler. Michael won an age
group prize.
On Sunday, Cameron Tully-Smith ran the Hot Chocolate 15K in Seattle.
Angie Hart won an age group prize at the Livermore half marathon.
Connor Rosenblatt took fourth place at the Napa Valley marathon.
Bingbiao "Eric" Fang, William McCarthy, Ernest Shimizu, Julia Croteau,
and Stephanie Dunlap also completed the marathon. Jennifer Desideri
and Elizabeth Heinberger ran the half marathon.
Over in Japan, Joe Krovoza and Jamie Henson completed a hot and
crowded Tokyo Marathon.
