Fellow Runners,
Carolynne Beno reports that, back on February 15th, she and her dog
Graham were the first dog/human team to cross the finish line at the
UC Davis Love on the Run 5K. They earned first place in the dog
division, and Carolynne took 3rd in her age group. I don't see any
official results for this race, so if anyone knows where they are,
please send me the link. Thanks!
On Saturday, Lattha Souvannaseng completed the Salmon Falls 50K up in
gold country.
In Berkeley, Michael Guss ran two track events at the Cal All Comers meet.
The Davis Stampede took place on Sunday. Matthew Wise took second
place overall in the 5K.
John Collins took fifth place overall in the 10K. Kristine Wise,
Charles Poutasse, and Joachim Schnier won age group prizes.
In the half marathon, Mark Murray, Tim Weaver, Nancy Rashid, Stefania
Stanley, Norman Coppinger, Constance Coman, and Mark Goltz all won age
group awards. A full complement of GVH volunteers ran as pacers.
