Weekend Race Results (8/13-8/19)

Fellow Runners,

We begin this week's results with the first cross country meet of the season. As is often the case, Joannie Siegler led the women's team, followed by Andrea Kirsch, Jamie Henson, and Camille Brown. The men were led by David Gerner, followed by Craighton Chin, Joachim Schnier, and Don Hagen (who ran for Buffalo Chips).

Cathrine and Mike Lemaire showed up in Greenville for Running of the Bears. This was Cathrine's first race since April. She ran the half marathon, and Mike ran the full.

On Sunday, Andrew Liu competed in the Oakland Sprint Triathlon.

Jim Flanigan ran a 10K trail race in the park right next to the previous day's cross country meet at Race Through the Redwoods in Santa Cruz.

And Senthil Cheetancheri earned a 4-minute PR at the Sevathon Half Marathon down in San Jose with 1:41.
