Results 7/8 - 7/14/2019

Fellow Runners,

Nancy Rashid and her family beat the heat by racing the Park Run 5K at Crissy Field on San Francisco Bay. Nancy won her age group.

The Davis Moonlight race was as hot as ever. Juan Sanchez took fifth place in the 5K with a sub-19-minute finish. Peter Friederich and Bud Haas won their respective age groups, and Sharon Hanks took second place in her own age group.

Sarah Kay was second over all and first female at the 10K with 40:53. Nick Pinter and Don Hagen each placed in their age groups.

Zach Bonner won the half marathon outright with a blazing 1:12 finish time. Xiaowei Yang, Aryn Yancher, Bob Rowden, and Ed Ballerini each placed in their respective age groups. Thanks to all the pacers who volunteered, both in and out of GVH!

On Sunday, Mark Murray took second in his age group at the Across the Bay 12K in San Francisco. Down in Ventura, Cathrine and Mike Lemaire ran the half marathon and marathon, respectively, with each placing in their age group.
