Weekend Race Results (4/2-4/8)

Fellow Runners,

The big race of the weekend was Sactown on Sunday. Nicole Aha led GVH in the 5K with 19:38, taking fourth in the women's race. Jim Farrar and Cynthia Chak were not far behind, each placing in their respective age groups. Joachim Schnier took first in his own age group.

At the 10-miler, we had four finishers under the 1-hour mark, led by Matt Wise. Ben Molin took third in his age group, and Mark Murray and Joannie Siegler each won their own age groups. Liz Vaage earned a 10-mile PR.

Notably, Andrea Kirsch and Ernie Shimizu completed both the 5K and the 10-miler for a nice round half-marathon.

Down in the Bay, three GVHers ran the San Francisco Half Marathon: Eric Fang, Christina Dicker, and Sharon Hanks.
