Fellow Runners,

With three days to kill in the mountains, Scott Sambucci ran two hundred miles around Lake Tahoe. Scott says: "BIG shout out to Kelly Barber for pacing me from Spooner Summit to Brockway Summit, and managing my general grouchiness for a good stretch of those 32 miles."

Joannie Siegler and Steve Barton were our lone representatives at the Garin Park cross country meet on Saturday.

Up on the Squaw Valley Trail, Jen Schmidt took second place and first woman at the Lederhosen 5K.

Mike Johnson won his age group at the Berkeley Trail Adventure half marathon.
