Fellow Runners,

Lots of races last weekend!

First, the Double Dipsea from Stinson Beach to Mill Valley and back. Mark and Joann Helmus, Heather Komure-Chan, and Laurin Beckhusen completed the steep, hilly trail course.

In Sacramento, David Gerner took sixth place overall at the Race for the Arts 5K. Joseph Huang, Ernie Shimizu, and Regina Jones ran as well.

The GVH women made a strong showing at the cross country meet in Santa Rosa, led by captain Joannie Siegler and Allison Orofino. Craighton Chin and Norman Coppinger represented the men.

At the Santa Rosa Marathon, Cameron Tully-Smith led GVH with a sub-3:30 finish. Jake Cohen, Mark Goltz, and Steve Shaffer finished as well. Allison Alcalay and Bingbiao Fang ran the half.
