Fellow Runners,


A missed result: back on April 7th, Zach Mills ran a 5K in Princeton, New Jersey.


On Saturday, Jesse Hartman and Tommy Vargas took on the hilly Diablo Trails Challenge down in Walnut Creek. Jesse ran the 10K, and Tommy took second place in the half marathon.


Sunday saw the Zoo Zoom down in Land Park. Brendan Ward led GVH at the 5K, taking sixth place overall. Erik and Cynthia Chak, Jamie Henson, and Joachim Schnier all placed in their age groups. Erik and Jamie earned 5K PRs.


Ben Sacks and Lilly Hayden led the club in the 10K. Brigette Haddock, Bruce Fisher, and Renvelyn Grey all placed in their respective age groups.


Also on Sunday, Zach Mills competed in a mountain bike race in North Carolina.


Monday was Patriots' Day in Boston, Massachusetts, commemorated by the 123rd running of the Boston Marathon. Nick Siino and Ellie Miller led GVH, followed by Ed Ballerini, Angela Borchers, and Jim Flanigan.
