At the Diablo Trail Challenge on Saturday, Mike Brown took fourth place in the 10K and Jen Schmidt took third in the hilly 50K.

That same day, Juan Sanchez and Kelly Barber ran the Lake Sonoma 50-miler.

Down in San Diego, Ben Sacks ran the Beach and Bay half marathon on Sunday.
