Fellow Runners,
A missed result from the Spirit of Benny race up in Placerville on Saturday, March 16: Rae Whitten took fourth place overall in the 5K, and Allison Orofino was second woman at the 10K.
The Lucky Run returned to Davis last Saturday. Sarah Kay took second place outright in the 5K. Peter Friederich, Andrea Kirsch, Beth Bourne, and Cory Glaeser all placed in their age groups. Cory ran with his son.
Eric Chak took fifth place in the 10K with 40:54, followed by his wife Cynthia who took second place in the women's race. Regina Jones and Clarisa Sudarma placed in their age groups.
Up in Auburn, Amy Zipp was third woman at the Knickerbocker Canyon 35K trail race. Christina Dicker won her age group.
On Sunday, Zach Mills competed in a mountain bike race in Florida.
Closer to home, Jane Sykes won her age group at the Oakland Half Marathon. Lynn Delgado ran the full.
Mike and Cathrine Lemaire ran and walked in the Paint the Town Blue for Mitch race up in Grass Valley. Mike took second in his age group at the 10K.
