Fellow Runners,
On Saturday, Brendan Ward won the Lost Trail half marathon out by Granite Beach. Kat Ward took fourth in the women's race.
Down by Lake Chabot, Jim Flanigan won his age group at the Redtail Ridge 30K. Jim had the privilege to chat with ultra-legend Magda Boulet who had just finished the 50K.
At Sunday's Davis Stampede, Ben Godfrey and Jose Zaragoza both finished in the top six in the 5K. Sarah Kay was third female and scored a sub-20-minute PR. New member Nils Carlson placed in his age group.
At the 10K, Joachim Schnier won his age group. Christina Dicker and Allison Alcalay each placed in their respective age groups.
Nineteen club members finished the half marathon, led by Charlie Harris in fourth place overall. Aryn Yancher won her age group as the 1:45 pacer. Mark Goltz placed in his own age group as the 2:15 pacer.
