Fellow Runners,

Blair Howard managed to take sixth place overall at the Ruth Anderson 50K in San Francisco on Saturday.

In Folsom at the Willow Hills cross country meet, the GVH women were represented by Tara Rogers-Soeder and Lilly Hayden. David Gerner and Jim Farrar led the masters men, and Ben Godfrey and Steve Andrews represented the open men.

Nearby in Granite Bay, several club members raced the Granite Head Trails and Ales race. Marrie Argentine-Chen took third place overall on the short course, followed by Ben Sacks, David Haake, Brigette Haddock, Susan Gentry, and two Steves. David managed to win his age group. Jim Samartino led GVH in the Long Course, followed by Roman and Melissa Huff.

Three GVH runners made the trip to Chicago for the annual marathon. Eric Fang, Ed Ballerini, and Jamie Henson all finished with strong times, with Jamie earning a five-minute marathon PR.
