Fellow Runners,
Back on January 22nd, Jim Flanigan and Michael Guss ran the Waterfront race overlooking the San Francisco Bay. Jim ran the 5K and Michael the 10-miler. Each won his respective age group.
Jim Flanigan followed this up the following Saturday (January 28) by running a trail half marathon at China Camp.
At the Jed Smith long distance meet in Sacramento on February 4th, Julia Croteau and Jim Flanigan ran the 30K, with each winning their respective age group. Jenn Schmidt won the women's 50K in 3:25.
Also on February 4th, Michael Guss participated in the Cal All-Comers Meet at UC Berkeley, where he ran the 1000 and 3000 meter events. Several UC Davis track and field team members also participated in the meet.
On Sunday the 5th, Senthil Cheetancheri and Angie Hart ran the massive San Francisco half marathon.
