About the Race
The Labor Day Race is a 100% non-profit with GVH members donating their time to organize it and sponsors donating money and resources.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Davis High School Cross Country Team, Winters High School Track & Field Team, Davis Special Olympics, Marguerite Montgomery Elementary Running Club, Friends of Inuyama Association, and other area youth running/health programs.

The event is an international race featuring several Japanese runners from Inuyama, Japan. Inuyama is a sister city of Davis. Every Davis resident entered in the 2005 Labor Day race is eligible to win a trip to race in Inuyama, Japan in 2006. (Must be present to win).
