Weekend Race Results (9/25-10/1)

Fellow Runners,

The Headwaters trail race was held on Saturday, September 30 up near Mount Shasta. Mark Drake and Joan Daugherty ran the 10K, with Mark taking third place. Eric Nichol ran the 30K.

That same day, Clayton Kleppinger and Martin Sengo ran the Overlook 50K starting from Foresthill.

The next morning, on Sunday, October 1, Martin Sengo woke up and ran another trail race. This time the Heart of Cool half marathon (in Cool, of course).

In Sacramento, a large contingent of GVH members showed up in Land Park to run Urban Cow. Angie Hart finished second in the women's 5K with 20:37. In the half marathon, Galen Farris took second in his age group with 1:18. Juan Sanchez and Ellie Miller were next. Mark Goltz took second in his age group, Jamie Henson earned a 9-minute PR, and Howard Ferris won his age group.
