Weekend Race Results (3/5-3/11)

Fellow Runners,
First, some missed results from Saturday, March 3. Benjamin Godfrey and Jose Zaragoza took second and fourth overall in the Moove Your Hooves 5K at UC Davis. In San Francisco, Nancy Rashid and her son Luke both won their respective age groups at the Crissy Field Parkrun 5K.
On Saturday, March 10, Andrea Brunsman ran the 50K at the Marin Ultra Challenge. Ian Grettenberger and Martin Sengo ran the 50-miler, with Ian taking third in his age group.
The big race in Sacramento this weekend was Shamrock'n. Bob Rowden and Regina Jones each placed in their respective age groups at the 5K. Sarah Kay and Joannie Siegler took second and third on the women's side of the 10K, with Sarah scoring a PR.
Eric Nichol led GVH in the half marathon on Sunday. Emily Cartwright followed with a strong time. Angie Hart and David Haake placed in their age groups. David, Liz Vaage, Jamie Henson, and Amy Becker all brought home PR's.
Down in San Rafael on Sunday, Jim Flanigan ran 5.3 miles at the Gold Hill Trail Run.
