Weekend Race Results (3/19-3/25)

Fellow Runners,
Back on March 17, three GVHers took on the 4 Mile Per Hour Challenge up in Whiskeytown. Blair Howard ran eleven 6-mile loops for a total of 66 miles, Chris Dalton ran 54 miles, and Cristina Dalton ran 48 miles.
At the Lucky Run in Davis on Saturday, March 24, everyone was a winner. Vince Fong took second place overall in the 5K, with Nicholas Pinter, Elizabeth David, Regina Jones, Peter Friederich, and Samantha Jones all placing in their respective age groups. Marc Blumberg led GVH in the 10K, with Terry Smiley, Sharon Hanks, Andrea Kirsch, Ernest Shimizu, Lillybelle Deer, and Fadi Fathallah following.
Up in Auburn, Chris Tyson took third place in the Knickerbock Canyon trail half. Brigette Haddock and Rachel Boddy also ran the half. Eric Nichol won his age group in the 35K, and Annie Ciernia took fifth in the women's race, followed by Andrea Brunsman.
On Sunday, Eric Fang ran a fast half marathon in New Orleans at the Best Damn Race.
I'm not aware of any races this coming weekend. Enjoy your spring break!
